Space Dodger – Testing GVEngine

As you may know, I’m working on a game engine in Java, that I’m calling GVEngine. So, today all I had to do was fix the fact that the collision system is extremely slow when you get 300+ objects, but I have been lazy, so… So I decided to make a litle game with what I have, and using simple distance functions to control the collisions. What I got so far is a spaceship with squares bounding around in a pretty pattern, but that’s already great as I still have 2+ million frames per second 😀

So, today was a great day, and I’m still working on this. I’ll try to add some sound effects tomorrow 😉
